Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous as a naive character who are engaging and relatable. Adams is born in Italy while her father served with the U.S. military and she lived in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. The mid-1990s saw her begin professional dancing and acting at Boulder's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. In Minnesota she was employed at a regional theater where she played a role in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a comedy documentary that focused on pages of beauty. Following her successful screen debut, in which she played an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet relocating into Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally. From June 1951 until September 22, 1962 she got engaged to actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh started her career in film following the signing of an MGM contract in the mid-1940s. She was discovered by actress and model Norma shearer. She appeared in several popular movies in the subsequent decade including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film from 1954).
