Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the 1980s and came to popularity with her role in the film Tezaab in which she was a part of the cast alongside the veteran actor Anil Kapoor. The next film she appeared in was Dil which she was on screen with Aamir. She was born into an Mumbai middle class family and started dancing at a young age. When she was in her early years as she began acting as a young actress, most films that she made did not succeed. Her fame grew and she became one of India's leading film actresses. After her wedding, she took a short break from her acting career until she returned. Recently, she had a major role to play in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit was awarded eight Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award given to civilians in India was awarded to Dixit. Social work by her is well-known.
